Welcome to an afternoon of chamber music with a beautiful view! Michael Kreutzer's kind enough to host us at his wonderful place on Laidley. Festival Rolland is a new musical project connecting the Bay Area with Burgundy in France, and we're coming to share trio movements by Bach and Beethoven, plus some surprises.
From Michael:
"BYOB SVP - OK to invite friends
$10+ donation recommended to our musicians - generosity encouraged.
Parents are responsible for their kids - we support music education. Parking all around Billie Goat hill. A short walk from Glen Park BART, J-Church or 24 Divisadero."
What's the music?
Here's the plan so far:
Beethoven: String Trio in C minor, op. 9 no. 3
A rotation of duo movements: Ravel for violin and cello, Piazzolla for viola and cello, Mozart for violin and viola
Plus a bonus!
