Groupmuse started last January with a huge concert, given by the Love and Friendship Orchestra, and we're at it again!
If you were there last time, you remember what a blast it was, but this time, it's going to be even better!
The thing is going down this Saturday at St John's Church, 1 Roanoke Ave, in Jamaica Plain. Show up at 7 and music will start not too long thereafter.
It will feature a variety of short chamber pieces, and then the entire LFO will come together for a performance of:
Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRMz8fKkG2g)
and
Gioacchino Rossini's William Tell Overture (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoBE69wdSkQ)
There will be food, drink, and so many good times!
We're asking for $10 at the door, and all of the proceeds will be going to The One Fund (https://onefundboston.org/) to aid the victims of last weeks attacks.
Beer has been generously provided by Harpoon Brewery and wine has been generously provided by Huntington Wine and Spirits!
No need to RSVP, though, by all means, go for it! But mostly, you gotta be there! And bring you friends!
