Hello!
On Saturday March 9 Mark and I will be hosting our third Groupmuse, welcoming back the five piece brass band called Affinity Brass. If you were here for the last one, you know they blow the house down!
It's put together through an organization called Groupmuse, and their goal is to bring people together by matching musicians with hosts, creating classical music house parties. In their words: "everyone comes over, hangs out, make friends, listens to an hour of mind-blowing music, and goes home happy." A hat gets passed at the end, with a minimum $10 for the musicians request. It's BYOB, and bring your own ears and hearts!
As the hosts we get first dibs at inviting guests. After 72 hours they open up the venue to the public. 30 spots are available. Affinity Brass really are a spectacular band with wit, charm, and deep musical chops and insight. They are a whole lot of fun.
