This will be our Sixth Groupmuse, and we love hosting. This chamber trio of Piano, Violin and Cello is amazingly talented and very special. This will be Ian's 2nd time at our house, and we look forward to him playing our 1923 Steinway Grand piano!
Gossamer Trio
Classical, Gypsy, and Tango Music by Beethoven, Grieg, Dvorak, and Piazzolla
Featuring San Francisco-based pianist Ian Scarfe and cellist Charles Akert, and Central Coast violinist Brynn Albanese, the Gossamer Trio is known for their high-energy programs that combine classical masterpieces with virtuoso folk-inspired music from Klezmer, Gypsy, and Tango traditions.
This program will feature music from Beethoven's famous "Ghost" Trio, as well as selections from Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla's "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires"
