Please come join us for our first ever vocal muse with an enchanting evening of song offered by acclaimed French pianist Anne-Lise Longuemare and an American soprano... and to help us celebrate mother Alice, who will be making her own long-anticipated return to the west coast from Providence, RI!
Anne-Lise is an alum of such prestigious venues as Salle Cortot (Paris), Maisonneuve (Montreal), Royce Hall (Los Angeles), The Broad Stage (Santa Monica), and Thayer Hall (Los Angeles). An avid chamber musician, she has been invited to many festivals around the globe in France, Austria, Germany, Norway, Canada, Netherlands and the United States. Her most recent local performances include the Rachmaninov Second Piano concerto, the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 5, the Gershwin Piano Concerto in F and the Rhapsody in Blue. She currently teaches piano at the French Conservatory of Music in Beverly Hills.
Lauren Carter is an award-winning soprano based in Los Angeles. Lauren received her
Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and her Master of Music at University of
Southampton in England, and subsequently worked in London as a singer, voice-over artist, actress, and model before returning to Los Angeles. Lauren is a member of Long Beach Camerata Singers, and most recently performed in their Holiday Pops Concert with Long Beach Symphony and their 2019 educational outreach program - Kinder Konzert: Introducing Brahms.
