Yes it's true -- both nights of our all-Mozart Nights Out with the Mostly Mozart Festival last week sold out in less than 24 hours. But we can hardly say we were surprised -- the light and depth Wolfgang's genius continues to inspire and lead us with its vision of beauty, balance, and harmony more than 200 years after its passing. And you'd be hard-pressed to find a more vivacious and dynamic exponent of that genius than the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra.

But I'm not here to rub it in if you didn't buy tickets in time -- I'm here to tell you that you've got one last chance, as we head back to Lincoln Center this week for a final Night Out with the Mostly Mozart Festival!

This time around, it's a program of youthful masterworks -- John Adams' bouncy and brilliant Chairman Dances from his operatic masterpiece Nixon in China; Mozart's 3rd Violin Concerto, led by the 17 year old rising superstar violinist Daniel Lozakovich; and ending with Ludwig Van Beethoven's very first symphony -- which saw him taking up the helm where Mozart had left off.

It's all brought to us by the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, led by French maestro and music director of Mostly Mozart, Louis Langrée.

And if you come to David Geffen Hall at 6.30, you'll hear a pre-concert recital with pianist Dominic Cheli, planning some Brahms and some Liszt.

And while tickets are typically $65, our friends at the Mostly Mozart Festival have given us a stack of rather insanely discounted tickets for $25. But they won't last, so make your move or wait till next year!
