Host
Internationally-acclaimed concert pianist Jessica Xylina Osborne presents a unique program which, shares the stories of female composers overlooked by history, exploring rarely-heard masterpieces from 19th century to our time. The program features gems from the past by Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann and music of current composers, featuring a beautiful new piano work by Pulitzer-Prizewinner Caroline Shaw and ending with Sofia Gubaidulina’s dazzlingly virtuosic Chaconne.
