You should really come to our house and help me live out my dreams of hosting a music appreciation party with people who I love. If we don't know each other yet, my name is Carrie. I'm new to Groupmuse but have attended a few Groupmuse performances in Denver, and plan on hosting my first night on Saturday, March 24th. The house where I'll be hosting is in the Baker neighborhood in Denver and the folks who live there are 1. my former roommates as of March 1 - I will miss them and want to stay connected, 2. a group of fun, active folks who care a lot about social justice and human rights and 3. all new to Groupmuse and classical music. Our home has plenty of space in the living room area for a small performance and a sweet fire pit in the back that we might be able to sit around afterward, weather-depending. We live right near Broadway, so plenty to do afterward if a fire isn't your thing.
What's the music?
Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia
Kodaly Duo for Violin and Cello - mvt. 1
Ravel Sonata for Violin and Cello - mvt. 2
Various songs
