Hot on the heels of this past weekend's sold out Night Out, our incredible (and incredibly hardworking) friends at The Celebrity Series of Boston are offering us another Night Out for this very week - on Saturday, February 5th at 8pm.

We'll gather in the legendary, historic, and utterly Hogwartsian Sanders Theater at Harvard University to collectively share the Eighth Blackbird experience. A relentlessly dynamic sextet, Eighth Blackbird is one of the world's leading New Music ensemble - they've commissioned work by Steve Reich, they've won numerous Grammies, they've even started their own new music festival. And now, thanks to the work of the Celebrity Series, they're coming through Boston to share with us music from the bleeding edge of Now.

The group is renowned for its artistry, its adventurousness, its steadfast commitment to curating the best new music this moment has to offer, and its good humor - overall, brilliant ambassadors for those new to New Music.
