    Last year, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s (known to friends and confidants as the OSL) made history, becoming the first major symphony orchestra to adopt our mode of presenting this great music when they hosted a Massivemuse in the Grand Style - they cozied the heck up out of their space, got top notch beer sponsor, and we hunkered down on a cold and rainy evening for some lovely music and some warmth with one another.

    Well, in this New Year, I’m proud to announce the Return of the OSL! On January 26th, we’ll gather a great big group in a dance studio on the lower east side to hear the Orchestra of St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble Players tell us tune-tales from the baroque master Vivaldi — a selection of sublime vocal and chamber music that’s been reverberating throughout the ages for the last 350 years.

    Lagunita’s Brewery is once again sponsoring the Massivemuse with their particularly delicious beer, so it’ll a warm and expansive evening to remember, up close and personal with music you’ll never forget.

    The Massive is at 551 Grand St, doors are at 7pm, beer is free and the tickets are $25 - but boogie because these won’t last!
