I'm very excited to host my first Groupmuse in my Washington Heights apartment with Les Voyageurs, a baroque instrumental ensemble of players fresh from the Historical Performance Program at Juilliard. I can't think of a better way to begin the fall season than a house concert of music composed for salons, where you are close enough to hear the whisper of bows across the strings and the lovely details of Baroque ornaments.
There will be cupcakes and hot (or cold--depending upon the weather) Apple Cider--or feel free to BYOB. And don't forget to bring a donation of $10 or more to be collected for the musicians (unless you elect to make your donation electronically on the Groupmuse web site).
Looking forward to welcoming neighbors, friends, and Groupmusers at 7:30pm on Thursday, October 12.
