Come experience a Schubertiade, a social parlor concert with roots in the life of composer Franz Schubert! Start mingling around 3pm (music starts between 3:30 and 3:45pm) to be the first to experience a performance at the Brookline Arts Parlor in grand fashion; with friends, perhaps some spur of the moment dance after the show, and throw in a birthday wish for the cellist ;)
This Schubertiade features original transcriptions of Berlioz La Captive and Massenet Elegie adatped for voice, cello and guitar, selections by the Musica Vera Duo, and Schubert Arpeggione Sonata on 5-string cello and guitar.
