This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

Maya Ramchandran, violin, and Audrey Vardanega, piano, explore music composed during times of internal conflict with music that represents times of external struggle such as wartime, to show the interconnection of emotional and physical reactions to conflict. We believe that a holistic view helps us understand both the music and our reactions to it as audience members or performers much more clearly.

What's the music?

Audrey Vardanega Classical Pianist, Composer

Beethoven Violin Sonata No. 10
Brahms Violin Sonata No. 3
Messaien Theme and Variations
