This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

First time hosting and first time performing on a Groupmuse! I'm in a rowhouse with two roommates in Georgetown, and have a gleaming black grand piano in the basement, complete with tapestries, Chinese wood carvings, couches, curtains, rugs, and tons of original artwork - we call it the Speakeasy Lounge and Performance Space. I'll be playing with an awesome violinist I went to music school with in New York, and it'll be a great scene!

What's the music?

Foster Wang Violin

Beethoven Sonata for Piano Op 101
Etwas lebhaft und mit der innigsten Empfindung.
Lebhaft, marschmäßig
Langsam und sehnsuchtsvoll
Geschwind, doch nicht zu sehr und mit Entschlossenheit

Brahms Sonata No 1, Op 78 in G major for Violin and Piano
Vivace ma non troppo
Adagio
Allegro molto moderato
