So as the Orchestra of St. Luke's wraps up their hugely successful summer festival, Facets of Schubert, they've invited us along for one last hurrah, once again at the Brooklyn Museum.
If you missed last week's show up at Caramoor, this Sunday once again features the OSL performing Schubert's magnificent and enormous Octet, and leading cultural critic, the New Yorker's Adam Gopnik - a longtime Schubert diehard - shedding his own light on what makes Schubert so big and so eternally important.
For the many, tickets are $40 or more, but for Groupmuse, they're yours for $20. And they get you into the museum all day, so you say hi to Georgia O'Keefe or the many other treasures of this splendid borough.
Have a lovely Sunday!
