I had the pleasure of hearing Tamar play at an other groupmuse in April. I would be delighted to hear the same program again (Brahms, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Tatishvilli, Chopin). But I asked her to make some changes to the program as other groupmusers may prefer this. Guests will include gm's and a few neighbors and friends.
Light hors d'oeuvres and juices will be served. Bring your own wine if you like, but it may not be brought into the music room. Arrival at 7:30ish, and we will try to begin no later than 8. Ok if you arrive earlier. Traffic is unpredictable. Guests may stay and socialize up to an hour past the performance. Our cat will not be permitted on the first floor this evening, but cat dander will be present. Cat is never allowed in the music room.
What's the music?
J.S. Bach – Petri - Sheep May Safely Graze (from J.S. Bach's Birthday Cantata)
J. Brahms – Intermezzo #2 op.118
A. Scriabin – Prelude for left hand op.9 Two Poems, op . 32
A. Scriabin – Sonata #2, Intermission
B. Kvernaze – Poem
O. Tatishvili – “Thoughts on the past and future”
F. Chopin – Ballade #4
