This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

Greetings, humans of the internet! This is our second Groupmuse event -- and the first one to be attended by our 6-year-old, who is fascinated by the idea strangers coming to make music in our house. ("Can they play 'Uptown Funk'?" No. "Can they play the 'Imperial Death March' from Star Wars?" Well, maybe.) We have a comfortably large space right next to Rock Creek Park and a short walk from restaurant row (on Upshur) in Petworth. (Go for a hike afterward and then eat dinner in the neighborhood!)

What's the music?

Jeremy Eig Clarinet
Joel Ayau

Three Preludes by George Gershwin
Sonata No. 1 in C Major by Francois Devienne
Cantilene by Louis Cahuzac
Oblivion by Astor Piazzolla
Sholem-Alekhem Rov Feidman! by Béla Kovács
