Steven Isserlis is inarguably one of the world's leading cellists, and, accompanied by pianist Connie Shih, he's coming through San Francisco with an epic load of masterworks to share - Chopin, Debussy, and Fauré, among others.
Our friends at San Francisco Performances are giving us a big stack of preposterously discounted tickets (for that which the wider world pays $50, we pay $20...) for our next Groupmuse Night Out.
Now, this is obviously a totally sweet opportunity to see internationally renowned virtuosos perform diaphanous, monumental, and eternally great music in the glorious Herbst Theater on the cheap, BUT given our longstanding mission-focus on community building, we wanted to Groupmuse-ify it a bit.
So! We're going to meet up for a happy hour at Corridor before - at 6pm - so that the folks who join can roll to the concert together, and then we'll post-game when the concert is over at White Chapel until everyone wants to go home! Both bars are a walk from the concert venue.
Come and fill your heart with beauty, substance, good cheer, and each other and have a great Night Out!
The tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and they'll mostly be in the Dress-Circle.
