Come celebrate July 4th early with an all-American piano recital performed by Juilliard graduate, Lisa Spector!
Her selections include romantic works by America's first female composer, Mrs. H.H.A. Beach, and Gershwin tunes that will leave you humming out the door. In addition to Rhapsody in Blue, she'll be performing beloved songs (Embraceable You, The Man I Love, and Fascinatin' Rhythm) turned into dazzling virtuoso etudes re-arranged by her Juilliard professor and one of the most celebrated American pianists, Earl Wild.
Lisa loves to educate listeners about the music she performs along with sharing entertaining stories about the composers. This is Lisa’s first Groupmuse performance and will be a rare treat for Groupmuse attendees.
