Hosts
Hello potential guests,
I hope to convince you to attend a very special evening of music. Why is this night special?
-- It is the Boston premier of a new Groupmuse initiative called Community Circles, in which several hosts collude to make sure there is a neighborhood concert at least every month.
-- It will be filmed as part of a documentary about the value of artistic communities in Boston.
-- I will be playing gorgeous music by Saint-Saens with french hornist and fellow groupmuse host Justin Stanley, who will be hosting another Roslindale concert in the near future.
-- Harpist/Vocalist/Composer Audrey Harrer will dazzle you with her strikingly original sounds and beautifully crafted songs. Audrey describes her music as "an eccentric blend of nostalgic vocals, cinematic imagery, and playful dissonance"
-- I'll be playing comedic art music with an amazing vocalist and string quartet. My Household Items songs are a joyous commentary on the ridiculous nature of advertising claims, warning labels, and instructional manuals, along with my bizarre childhood stories, expressed through an eclectic mixture of styles that range from Irish jigs to Gospel anthems to soothing lullabys.
-- All proceeds from the concert will go to Shelter Music Boston, a wonderful non-profit that brings classical music to homeless shelters.
Our Roslindale place is great for concert going...plenty of parking, floor space, couch space, and chair space. We'll have some delicious homemade snacks and you're welcome to BYOB.
What's the music?
This event will feature three distinct types of music! Justin Stanley (horn) will perform:

Audrey Harrer and Brian Friedland round out this eclectic night of music!
