This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

Hosting our second annual groupmuse in our spacious, air-conditioned living room just across the street from the Tufts campus near Davis Square! We can also hang out in the yard before and after the show. It's about a ten minute walk from the T, and ample street parking is available too. We'll have some small snacks but feel free to bring your own.

Megan Henderson, piano, is an accomplished pianist, conductor, composer, and educator. Lysander Jaffe, viola, graduated Williams College in 2014 and now enjoys a varied musical career in Boston. The duo will play works by Bach, Brahms, and Enescu.

I put the vibe as 'party time' for lack of a better choice but we're all civilized late 20's to mid-30's folks living here so please have lots of fun but respect the neighbors. Excited to see everyone!

What's the music?

Bach Cello Suite No. 3 (arr. for Viola)
Brahms F minor Viola Sonata
