UPDATE!: THIS GROUPMUSE IS HAPPENING! ROCK ON BOSTON!
First, some definitions.
August: 1. adjective - inspiring reverence or admiration; of supreme dignity or grandeur; majestic. 2. noun - the season in which the Boston arts scene reaches its low point.
Next, some exciting news:
The august WGBH wants to host a groupmuse on August 21st, featuring the august young violinist Ben Beilman - one of the top players of his generation. In fact, his work has been described by the Washington Post as “mightily impressive” and by the New York Times as "muscular with a glint of violence". In other words, he's a Warner artist, and, once again, Warner Classics and 99.5 WCRB FM - Classical Radio Boston (our one and only official Boston radio station) are colluding to spoil the Boston Groupmuse community.
The only catch: It's late notice, and it's August, so we don't know how much of our crowd will show. We explained as much to WGBH and decided that the best course of action is to pioneer a new model which we've just at this very moment decided to call a "Tipping-pointmuse".
IF! and only IF! 150 people RSVP to this event by Wednesday the 19th, we'll have our Fourth Frasermuse, a groupmuse in WGBH's glorious Fraser Studio!
In other words, if you wanna have this last minute Frasermuse, invite your friends!!!
What's the music?
