San Francisco is a city famous for its firsts. It was home to the first guy in San Francisco to drink a cup of coffee. First guy in San Francisco to forget his wife’s birthday. First guy in San Francisco to be the first guy in San Fransisco to take a dip in our famous Bay. All firsts. All San Francisco.
Well. San Francisco is about to add another first to its belt, or its Baylt, if you will, and we hope you won’t. San Francisco is about to host the first San Francisco Massivemuse in San Francisco, ever.
What’s a Massivemuse, you ask? It’s a massive groupmuse, we explain. We’ve put on many a Massivemuse in the backwater wasteland formerly known as the East Coast and now we’re moving Westward with it. Why is it ticketed, you ask? Because it’s special!, we explain. Why is it special, you ask? Because it's a 100 person BYOB groupmuse in an art space in SoMa! Special enough for ya?
Have fun, San Francisco!
What's the music?
Schubert's explosively beautiful "Death and the Maiden" quartet, D. 810. Opening with a violent, anguished scream of terror and struggle, the quartet moves its players and audience through the mythic process of death and resurrection.
