The Web of Azoth is "a sacred space built for the psyche and the soul. Created by Methods Archaic (http://www.methodsarchaic.com/), it explores the power of Alchemy and of the Elements in the search for transcendence. We believe in the importance of the relationship between sound and form and the harmonies which can be created through fusing these forces."
The people behind this build out industrial spaces into full installations with the intention of having live performances happening in direct communication with the set, and that's exactly what we're going to do. There will be a string quartet performing in the middle of the installation to bring a multi-sensory experience of light and sound, with couches and floor space a-plenty for chilling and mingling.
We'll have a cash bar set up in the space with a specialty cocktail and cheap beer and wine, and someone at the front to collect a recommended donation of $10 or more. The space is off of the Lorimer St or Flushing Ave stop on the J/M train and the Montrose Ave stop on the L.
