Picture a wild, sweaty dance club packed with some of the coolest folks around. Then picture an unbelievable orchestra playing one of the craziest pieces of music ever written.
Now combine the two.
This one-of-a-kind ‘muse, presented by the Boston Philharmonic, will do just that! Come on out and groove along with a full orchestra as they perform Igor Stravinsky’s masterpiece, The Rite of Spring. The goal here is to throw stuffy “concert etiquette” out the window, and replace it with the atmosphere of a full-on dance party. It’s what good ‘ol Igor would have wanted!
Conducted by James Blachly, 2014-15 Zander Fellow with the Boston Philharmonic.
