Ulkar A. Superhost

I'm delighted to host cellist and chef Jeremy Russo who combines the masterworks of J.S. Bach with a variety of appetizers made from scratch in this truly one-of-a-kind event.

Ticket price: $40 (to be paid at the event)

A Unique Approach: Jeremy performs Bach's Cello Suites according to the specific bow markings of Anna Magdalena (Bach's second wife and copyist), and with a Baroque-style bow. Although this approach is not commonly performed, it allows the music to breathe in a unique way and welcomes a fresh perspective to this timeless music.

The Culinary Twist: After the performance, guests will enjoy a variety of appetizers made by the cellist you just heard, pairing his passions for music and cooking and sharing it with others.

Bach Suite No. 3 in C Major
I. Prelude
II. Allemande
III. Courante
IV. Sarabande
V. Bourrée I
VI. Bourrée II
VII. Gigue

Bach’s Lunch is the ultimate pairing of music and food, all prepared by cellist and chef Jeremy Russo. I play through a Bach Suite in an innovative, informative, and approachable way and serve homemade appetizers after the performance. Here we explore the parallels of the culinary arts and music.
