We are so excited to host ASTRAEUS Chamber Collective!

Please join us in our historic Brooklyn home for the rare experience of a live string quartet performing Scandanavian folk music.

It will be a cozy/warm (hygge) and unforgettable night!

From ASTRAEUS:

We're so excited to be performing Scandinavian folk music arranged and recorded by the Danish String Quartet for our 'Hygge' program. The pieces we'll be presenting are from their albums Wood Works and Last Leaf. Most of the pieces are arrangements of little tunes or dances, fleshed out for the lush sound of a string quartet. The simple melodies take on a new life with modern harmonies, and capture the landscape in Scandinavian folk communities.
