    Exploring Beethoven piano trios:
    Opus 1 no. 3 and Opus 70 no. 1
    These two trios reflect Beethoven's evolution of the piano trio form. The early C minor trio with cascading piano scales followed by the rich D major trio where the sonorities of the three instruments are equally fully developed.
