Classical guitarist Charles Mokotoff will showcase the work of eight composers performing two carefully chosen works by each. This fascinating and unusual program will allow audience members to become familiar with some of the greatest composers for guitar, as well as transcriptions from piano and strings.
Please bring your favorite drink or beverage. Light hors d oeuvres will be offered.
What's the music?
Popular works that showcase the diversity of classical guitar repertoire. Music by Bach, French impressionist music by Satie, Spanish composers Albeniz and Rodrigo as well as Latin American favorites by Morel, Reis, Barrios and Villa Lobos.
