Host
Medford welcomes Brooklyn-based guitarist Luis McDougal for an evening of guitar music pushing boundaries in every sense! Weather permitting, the concert will take place outside in our grassy back yard.
We'll provide both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and some light snacks. Kids welcome!
What's the music?
Jazz songs, pop songs, folk songs with a sensitive approach to beauty, and a compositional outlook in redefining each song. Improvisation all throughout :)
Where does this music come from?
Music through time and space, improvisation transcending several music traditions and connecting them in unexpected ways. A compositional approach to improvisation. Inspired by music heroes Thelonious Monk, The Beatles (late period), Radiohead, Hermeto Pascoal and more.
