George and Diana Kahn are thrilled to host Jay Julio, an outstanding violist based in New York City.
Jay is the Assistant Principal Violist of the Opera Philadelphia Orchestra, and has played with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, the Dallas, Memphis, Charleston, and Virginia Symphonies.
Jay will be performing with LA-based pianist and executive director of Music for Unity Shushana Hakobyan. Shushana received her Ph.D. in Piano Performance from The Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia, and received a Graduate Certificate in Keyboard Collaborative Arts from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music.
