Pittsburgh-based Kamratōn works to expand the contemporary chamber music repertoire and celebrate the role of women as leaders through adventurous, genre-bending performances. They're coming through Manhattan on June 2 and have invited our Groupmuse community along for a Night Out.
Kamratōn's Anna Elder performs Schoenberg's PIERROT LUNAIRE with guest artists Futaba Niekawa [piano] and Jeffrey Turner [conductor]. Other works on the program include OI KUU by Kaija Saariaho and NOCTURNES by Emily Cook [premiere].
Tickets are normally priced at $29 a pop, but but we've got them for only $10 (and $1 for Supermusers!)
Groupmuse ticket buyers are instructed to check in at a table at the entrance. Seating is first come first served.
The venue is on the 7th floor!
