On 1 May this year, you are very welcome to join us in the countryside and treat your ears to something unique ;-)
We recently got to know Omer Eilam from Israel, who has been living in Falkensee for some time now.
He is a special person, composer, synthesiser player and climate activist. His piece A Day At Hambacher Forst for electronic music and text reflects his very personal experience in the camp and will form part of the concert.
We are particularly pleased that he will be improvising part of the concert with Paul Hübner, a top-class trumpeter who is not only world-famous and highly regarded in the new music scene. These are professionals who are at home anywhere in the world: Paris - London - New York - FALKENSEE :-)
We look forward to seeing you!
What's the music?
The evening will consist of two parts. The first will mark the first performance of Imaginary Ecosystems, a project which has been germinating since 2017. Through free improvisation Paul Hübner and Omer Eilam create imaginary “sound organisms” and interact with them in a so-called ecosystem of sounds. The second part of the concert will feature the tragic story of a real and precious ecosystem as told in the piece A Day at Hambacher Forst.
