Host
Every 2-4 weeks Friday at 8 pm we'll host piano concerts, including duets and soloists, on the parlor floor of our Brooklyn home, allowing for time to mingle and to get to know the musician after the performance.
What's the music?
I’ll give description for pieces during my performance. I’ll be playing rarely heard pieces by Grieg and one of the most famous romantic pieces, Schumann Fantasie op.17. This is about love and reminiscing.
Where does this music come from?
All the music comes from Romantic era. Grieg is a Norwegian composer and isn’t performed too often. Schumann is German and the piece I’ll be playing is one of the staples of romantic repertoire.
