Where does this music come from?
This program will be rooted in music for the Baryton by Haydn. These Haydn trios were composed while Haydn was in the employ of Prince Esterhazy.
The Valencia Baryton Project prides itself on its dedication to historically informed performance, especially in bringing these trios to life with a sound as accurate as can be created in our modern times to resemble the court where this music would have originally been intended.
A few commissions that were composed for the Valencia Baryton Trio will be included as well.
