We have a wonderful evening program of classical violin. Dorisiya Yosifova will perform compositions by Eastern European composers, including Dora Pejacevic, Bartok and others.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the concert begins at 7 PM. We will have tables and chairs set up for a potluck.

For the potluck, please bring food to share, a place setting and napkins. We will provide tea (bring your own cup) and other beverages.

The venue is an historic San Francisco building originally constructed as a Baptist church. Since 1926 the building has been a center for the Polish Community. The Club’s mission is to serve as a center for the propagation of Polish culture, art, language, and community.

There is bicycle parking on the street in front of the club. There are two parking garages nearby: California Parking on Mission between 19th and 20th and the Mission Bartlett garage on 21st between Mission and Valencia. The 24th Street Bart Station is within walking distance. Folsom Street and Mission Street buses are nearby.

Best suited for adults and children 10 and over. Children must be supervised at all times. We are a shared space; please do not touch items in the Club that belong to renters. If you bring a dog, it must be leashed and all droppings removed from the outside premises. We are a nonsmoking facility.

What's the music?

I will be exploring compositions by Eastern European composers, such as Dora Pejacevic, Bartok and others. More details TBD.

Where does this music come from?

I am an immigrant who was born in Bulgaria. There are many wonderful compositions from that region that are not performed often, and part of my mission as a musician is to bring them to life and teach my audiences why and how these works are memorable and worthy of performing.
