Hi there!
I'm excited to welcome back pianist Greg Hartmann who will be playing his farewell concert for Groupmuse NYC (for now) before he leaves for London, England. He will be playing a program including Bach, Beethoven, Scarlatti, and Liszt. Come hear a great concert and wish Greg well on his next chapter.
Audience arrival begins at 7:30pm with music to begin around 8pm. I'll provide light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks; feel free to BYOB. Please note I'd like us to take off our shoes upon entering the apartment.
What's the music?
Bach Prelude and Fugue in E-flat minor, WTC Book I, BWV 853
Beethoven Sonata in E major, Op. 109
Scarlatti Sonata in A major, K. 208
Scarlatti Sonata in G minor, K. deest
Liszt Transcendental Etude No. 12 in B-flat minor, "Chasse Neige"
