The next installment of music in a visual art space

(parking easy on the street in front at tis hour, and yes the neighborhood is safe)

A special night: A premier of a new "chamber opera" by Lewis. Come early/stay late to explore the art.

"A chamber opera is a small scale piece of music designed for intimate spaces with no conductor. It's chamber music, but with a story and characters; no talking, only singing. As a composer, I'm interested in
engaging the audience with a multifaceted approach. While I write plenty of
music that's music for music's sake, I do think there's value in
incorporating different artistic disciplines, and opera has the potential
to be all encompassing. A fully staged opera can have drama, poetry, set
design, costume design, practical effects, and of course, music. While
this performance of "The Difference" will only be partially staged, it will
still offer multiple angles of engagement for the audience."

What's the music?

Bradley Kynard (he/him) Baritone
Victoria Fraser Soprano

Bach Cantata "Burlesque" BWV 212
