ARTEK, the art of early keyboard, welcomes Groupmuse community members back for a Night Out, this time a matinee at the beautiful St. Ignatius church in the upper west side.

They'll be presenting the Concerti Grossi of Arcangelo Corelli, with an orchestra combining ARTEK members and young string players participating as Fellows, under the leadership of famous Italian baroque violinist Enrico Gatti. Corelli’s orchestra was legendary both for its size and innovative musical practices, and his Op. 6 Concerti Grossi were a sensation in Italy and abroad in the 18th century. Don’t miss this chance to hear Italian baroque music led by a world-renowned master.
