Please join us for an evening of well-tempered flute and keyboard music! These slowly beating major 3rds and pure 5ths will heal you in a way you never would have expected.
This program will feature the gorgeous flute stylings of Courtney Badura as well as a beautiful and ancient instrument: The Flemish Harpsichord. Unlike modern piano playing where a premium is put on color of sound, harpsichord playing involves expressive rhythmic and logorhythmic improvisation. After the first World War these musical behaviors nearly dissappeared from the concert hall, though someday soon I hope for a revival. Join us for an evening of music that will pull at your heart and awaken every affection.
Street parking is available in the nearby blocks.
