I am very happy to welcome back Yi-Fang, and to also host the talented cellist, Angela Lee. I recently heard them perform at the Maybeck Studio, and was so moved by their performance that I requested they play at my house. And I look forward to welcoming fellow groupmusers, after a 2-1/2 year indoor groupmuse hiatus.
For this first indoor groupmuse, I request that we all stay masked indoors - no drinks or food. There is an outdoor deck that you can unmask outdoors during intermission.
What's the music?
Nadia Boulanger: Three pieces for cello and piano
Francis Poulenc: Sonata for cello and piano, FP 143
Johannes Brahms: Sonata for cello and piano No.2 in F major, Op.99
