Always celebrating the magical sound of the piano, Nancy Garniez presents some beloved and perhaps not so beloved works by Robert Schumann (we relish differences of opinion!), in the company of Bartok's initial leaps into the realm of equal temperament: Bagatelles, Op. 6. The great innovator for the piano, CPE Bach foreshadows the whole picture. When's the last time you heard his music!!
We are holding this in the late afternoon to facilitate travel to and fro, and hope you will join us.
What's the music?
Improv
Bartok: Bagatelles (selections) Op. 6
Schumann: Kinderszenen
CPE Bach: Sonata in b minor
