Washington D.C. based Dr. Simon Finlow will perform his program for his upcoming 2022 Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition and regale us with stories of the pieces he will be playing.
Born in Lincoln, England, Simon began playing piano at age 4 and studied with Imogen Cooper in his late teenage years. He received a bachelor’s degree in music from Oxford University and a doctorate in musicology from Cambridge University.
As usual, we will have an evening filled with beautiful music, great company and plenty drinks and snacks.
