Greetings!
My name is Jae and I recently started A4 Collective, a studio space with a baby grand piano on the second floor of the Soapbox Gallery in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. I am hoping to grow a space where classical musicians can meet, try out new repertoire and form groups for performances. As part of this initiative I will be holding monthly performances at the space to bring music to the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods.
For the month of September, I am excited to host Adrienne Baker, flute, and Nick Dinnerstein, cello. They have prepared a wonderful program that spans a broad range of genres. Join us for an intimate evening of music, a lovely way to end your day.
Program
Assabio a Jato
Sonata in C Major
Spirituals for Duo
Opal's Boogie
Cry Me a River (jazz standard)
Moon River
A4 Collective is a 10-minute walk from Atlantic-Barclays, and even closer from the 2, 3, B and Q trains. When you arrive at the building, please use the door on the LEFT to access the stairs to the second floor. There will be signs for the event on the door.
What's the music?
Villa-Lobos - Jet Whistle
Bach - Sonata in C Major
Green - Spirituals for Duo
Baker - Opal’s Boggie
