Come hear the 20th-Century Russian Piano Quintets on a 100-year-old Lyon & Healy baby grand piano in our West Village townhouse. The quintet will be performing the famous Shostakovich Piano Quintet paired with a devastating piano quintet written by the compelling Polish-Jewish composer who lived in Russia, Mieczysław Weinberg.
The fab 5 is back at our house, this time to raise money for their album in the making! The quintet promised each other to record an album of Shostakovich and Weinberg piano quintets at Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in the summer of 2019. They're finally doing it in NYC!
