Always a pleasure to host the mix of new and old friends typical of a Groupmuse. The atmosphere is especially celebratory this year as my last scheduled event (October) had to be cancelled due to an accident. Happy to be back; hope to see you. Feel free to bring kids; there is plenty of hallway for them to draw (I have lots of colored pencils and paper) and still be within earshot of what is happening.
What's the music?
A CPE Bach sonata
Haydn Sonata in C (under the influence of CPE ! - who knew, until the pandemic year led to time for study and reflection )
Some Beethoven: Fuer Elise, anyone?
(a perfect composition in my view)
Variations on God Save the King (spoiler: it's in the wrong key, but don't tell anyone - he doesn't until its almost too late).
Much humor; a lot of profound joy. Join me!
