Strange Holiday Interlude anyone?! We've been delighted to get back to in-person performances, but wanted to be sure to share some of the festive concert programs we've been performing with our virtual community as well. Please join us for an evening of selections for the season, curated by your friendly neighborhood harp and cello duo. We'll be playing music that feels warm and cozy: some winter-themed tunes as well as movie music selections, and we'll top it off with Ravi Shankar's fusion of Indian Classical and Western Classical music by performing one of our signature chamber works - Shankar's Sonata for Harp and Cello.
What's the music?
Selections from Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols: Processional, That Yongë Child, Balulalow, Interlude and Luciano Berio: I wonder as I wander
Greensleeves Variations
Ravi Shankar: Sonata for Harp and Cello
Celtic Winter Collection by Loreena McKennitt - To Drive the Cold Winter Away, The Seasons, Banquet Hall
Coffee (Arabian Dance) from The Nutcracker
Cadenza/Canon Medley with John Williams: Somewhere in My Memory from Home Alone
Hans Zimmer: You’re So Cool
