The San Francisco Philharmonic is a next generation arts organization with a simple mission: to make the masterpieces of Western Classical Music accessible to all with gregarious, affordable performances in beautiful venues.
So, on Friday, December 3rd, they’re assembling in the legendary Herbst Theatre under the baton of conductor and music director Jessica Bejarano to share with us some very heavy hitters: Mozart’s iconic and ebullient Overture to Marriage of Figaro, Tchaikovsky’s lush and mournful and redemptive Serenade for Strings, and Max Bruch’s arch-Romantic Violin Concerto in G Minor, featuring the astonishing talents of rising soloist Ani Bukujian.
And what’s more: they want the Groupmuse community to come along! They’ve given us a big stack of tickets for $20, so if you want to join for the thrills and the beauty, get yours now!
