This is a Groupmuse Night Out

Explore the wider world of music outside Groupmuse with exclusive discounts to local concerts.

It’s with excitement and humility that we invite you to join for a Groupmuse Night Out with legendary architect Daniel Libeskind and Open House New York's Dorothy Dunn. It’s a very special launch event of a new television series called Songs About Buildings and Moods exploring the intersection of music and architecture.

The evening will consist of a panel discussion on the dynamic relationship between music and architecture, and the power of sensory engagement. Carnegie Hall's Ensemble Connect will perform the commissioned pieces live to the videos of the spaces

The sites include an Art Moderne church, the TWA Hotel, the Morris Jumel Mansion and Frank Lloyd Wright's Emil Bach House.

Songs About Buildings and Moods invites us to experience both architecture and music in new ways and is presented as part of Open House New York (OHNY) Weekend. At times of unprecedented change in how we hear live music and how we relate to the very idea of common space (hello Zoom!), this evening will be a wild meditation on cultural communion in the future.

Tickets are $20 and it’s going down at the gorgeous Roulette Intermedium in Downtown Brooklyn.
