We have lived in a musical desert for eighteen months. At last it is safe for us to gather and hear live music. Please come and hear Mahoko Eguchi, violist with the National Symphony Orchestra, and John Hughes, violinist, with a program including Ysaye, Mozart and Bach. The acoustics in the studio are excellent. And it will be a chance to renew friendships in person.
There is plenty of untimed free parking on the road in front. We follow the Japanese custom of removing our shoes in the house; slippers are provided and you are welcome to go barefoot if you prefer. To reduce risks yet further, the venue is fitted with a dentist-grade Medify M-40 air purifier.
What's the music?
Ysaye sonata for two violins
Mozart duo for violin and viola
Bach inventions for violin and viola
